Spellbinders | November Small & Large Die of the Month – Christmas!

Hello friends! It’s this time of the month again – time for new Spellbinders Small & Large Die of the Month clubs reveal! This month, since it’s so close to the Holiday Season, it’s all about Christmas making! The Small Die of the Month features a set of sentiment dies and a deer and a Large Die is perfect for creating Advent Calendars although can also be used for cardmaking.

I really love both of the sets this month and I couldn’t wait to share with you how I used them! SPELLBINDERS SMALL DIE OF THE MONTH

This is my favorite card made using the Small Die of the Month. I love the font used for the sentiments and of course the cute deer! And by the way, you can use this deer die cut all year round.

I used Burnished Rose cardstock here for the sentiment and I love the softness of this look. I went with non traditional colors here, but the patterned paper in the background and the snowy hill still both set the mood for a perfect little Christmas card.

The deer die cuts all of the little details out for you including the outline, the bow is a separate die. You can die-cut this deer out of white cardstock and use markers to color the detail or cut all out of colored cardstock (that’s what I did).

The other two cards I made using November Small Die of the Month are super simple. One is a New Year card and another one is a simple wreath project.

Large Die of the Month this month is perfect for creating Advent Calendars or little treat boxes. The dies can also be used for cardmaking and my favorite die in this set is actually that perfect geometric tree you see on the card below.

Here I used just the inner die and cut it into a panel of white cardstock to make a shaker card. So much fun! The ornaments come as a separate die so can you easily cut them out of different color cardstock like I did here – red glitter. I also covered each with a large clear droplet from Pretty Pink Posh to give them that glossy dimension.

The Season’s Greeting sentiment comes from a stamp set from Simon Says Stamp, gold confetti inside the shaker is from Pretty Pink Posh.
