Hello friends! This week I continue to share a look at the products in my new Let’s Celebrate collection with Spellbinders. I’ve already shared a How To Use Floral Celebration Press Plate and Stencil Bundle video, How to Use Celebrate Flowers Registration Press Plate video, and How to Use Peony Background Press Plate video.

In this post, I’m sharing the How to Use Peony Celebration Die video. As always, I have several examples for you, I hope they inspire you to create with either these products or products you already have in your stash.

PEONY CELEBRATION DIE

The Peony Celebration Die is the same concept die as my previous floral dies (Magnolia, Anemones, Poinsettia) and is meant to be used in the same way. It can be used alone, but also combined with previous florals.

To create this card I used my new Peony die, along with Magnolia and Anemones. I cut the outlines from Gold Mirror cardstock, the petals were cut from Simon’s #130 cardstock and colored with Copic Markers. The background was made from Brushed Black cardstock, I added splatter using Yasutomo Reddish Gold watercolor.

My next card shows just the Peony die alone, created in the same way as on the card above:

I added a shadow layer created using vellum – I love the soft and airy look this gives. I also added pearls in matching color.

Here are a few other cards I made using this die to show you different ways it can be used. I did a white outline for flowers on both of these cards and used colored cardstock to add color to the flowers. I also added leaves cut from various shades of green. I did a lot of layering here to create new clusters.
