Spellbinders | De-Light-Ful Christmas How-To. Video

Hello, friends! Welcome back for the mini-series featuring the How-To tutorials for the products from my Yana’s De-Light-ful Christmas collection. In this post, I’m looking at the De-Light-Ful Christmas plate & die set.

DE-LIGHT-FUL CHRISTMAS DETAILS

I designed this plate so that it can be used either with the sentiment that it comes with or with other sentiments you might already have in your stash. There’s a main tangled light glimmer plate plus a lights die to create colorful lights to add over the foiled lights.

Here’s a closer look at this card, I foiled the background on Audrey Blue cardstock and ink blended the edges. The sentiment here comes from my A Merry Little Christmas Plate set.

For this card, I foiled the lights on white cardstock and added the sentiment that comes with the kit. I added a bunch of lights in different colors:

Here’s another card where I foiled the lights on dark green cardstock, this is Spellbinders Fern and ink blended the bottom part with dark green ink:

I added white pen highlights and dot details to add interest and playfulness to this design:

My last card features the same design, but here I used a wax seal instead of the sentiment – I die-cut paper twine using the Sealed Twine die and added a was seal. Seal was created using pastel blue wax and gold pen to create the highlight.
