Spellbinders | Clean & Simple Cards with Die D-Lites

Hello friends! I have a few more clean & simple cards to share featuring Spellbinders Die D-Lites dies. The Die D-Lites is one of my most favorite line of dies from Spellbinders – I so adore the little critters and little objects – they seem to be perfect for my A2 cards. These dies, despite their small size, also are pretty powerful – they usually have parts and pieces that let you customize you die cut designs and use one die in more than one way (and this is something that I always look for in any product).

First up I have a Pizza card using Party Food die set from Spellbinders!

CARD DETAILS – PIZZA!

The party food die set has parts and pieces to create Pizza slices and Tacos and it also includes little word dies. I used just the pizza dies for my card today and created 2 pizza triangles for my card.

I die-cut pizza pieces out of various colors and types of cardstock to create pizza crust, sauce and pepperoni. I also used a black pen and Nuvo drops in white and black to add black olives and pieces of white cheese on my pizza. You can customize it anyway you like and basically make it into any flavor of pizza you love.

I made 2 pizza pieces, foam mounted them onto a patterned paper panel (comes from Echo Park – The Great Outdoors 6×6 Paper Pad) and adhered onto an A2 card base. I also added a “Ciao!” die cut and “Lets Get Together” stamped sentiments (comes from My Favorite Things Stay Cool Clear stamp set, it’s been discontinued).

CARD DETAILS – PANDAS!

Here’s another card featuring a cool Die D-Lites die with individual parts and pieces to customize your die cuts – Build A Panda. Here you have die cuts to make a standing or sitting panda and there’s also a cute little bow that can be used as bow tie or hair accessory for the girl-panda.

I die-cut parts and pieces out of white, black, pink and blue cardstock and also fun foam. I love to add dimension to my die cuts with fun foam so I use loads of it. I also used an R20 marker to add blush to my panda’s cheeks, as well as a black and white pen to add mouth and eye details.

Here I once again added a patterned paper panel, foam mounted my pandas and finish this card with You’re The Best Cuddle Buddy sentiment from My Favorite Things. I love MFT for their sentiment stamp sets – they have so many great ones and I also enjoy using their sentiments because of the font – it’s clean and classy.
