I love stamps. Clear, cling, wood – I love them all! Today I have a fun video using Christmas stamps from Tammy Tutterow’s latest stamp collection for Spellbinders.

I did very simple stamping using Memento Black ink and colored images using Copic markers. I also added lots of shimmer using Wink Of Stella Glitter pens and coated some sections on my cards using Glossy Accents for a raised and shiny look.

CARD DETAILS
I wanted to add some texture to my mittens, but I didn’t feel comfortable enough to draw any myself, so I went with Paper Piecing technique. I used a piece of patterned paper that I liked, stamped mitten onto it and cut them out using scissors (oh how I wish there were coordinating dies available for the mittens, cuffs and hearts!).
I had so much fun stamping and coloring my first project I decided to stamp a few more cards. I used the same approach (I didn’t do any paper piecing) and colored a few more images using Copics:

Fun cards–I love the effect of paper piercing.
