Hello and welcome to Simon Says Stamp “Winter Twinkle” December Card Kit Blog Hop! Sorry I have been a bit MIA in the past few days, I have been traveling to USA and got back last week. I’m still getting used to the current time zone and catching up on all the work. Its crazy!
I’m happy to join to blog hop dedicated to the December card kit from Simon which focuses on heat embossing! How fun is that? I remember the feeling I had when I melted embossing powder for the first time – felt like pure magic! I even took the heat embossing supplies to my mother’s home and showed her how its done! I was and still am very much excited about embossing, so much you can do with it! So many cool techniques!
I think I usually use heat embossing for backgrounds for my cards (especially for the resist technique), but I also love to heat emboss sentiments. That cool raised surface creates such a wow factor! Here are a few more cards of mine with embossing:
Enough chit-chat, here are the two cards that I created using this kit. Sparkle and shine:

I like your cards a lot. They could be done without the embossing but they would look flat. I love the texture and dimension the raised embossing adds.

Beautiful! I follow your youtube channel and happened to watched one of your Ukrainian videos. I was fascinated listening to you and, while I had no idea what you were saying, was still able to follow along. Who needs Rosetta Stone when we have craft videos in other languages? 🙂

Awesome cards!
WOW!! LOVE your cards!! My favorite is the absolutely scrumptious poinsettia card!! So delicious and elegant looking! l also remember the magical feeling of watching the embossing powder melt the first time. I still get a little bit of that magical feeling each time I heat emboss. The other day I showed my 10 and 6 year old grandsons heat embossing and they were mesmerized!!! If I let them they would have embossed the rest of the day! LOL Two more addicts added to the family!
Thanks for sharing your cards and the awesome video!!
