Hello, friends! I’m happy to say that everything has been packed, suitcases are stuffed to the brim, I’m catching the last bits of warm weather and sunshine and all set for our more. In the meantime, I have a new card to share created using some fun new stamps from Simon Says Stamp – Oh Baby! My younger cousin is expecting her first baby boy so I made this card for them to give along with a sweet little gift I bought in Target (they have the most adorable baby section!).

CARD DETAILS
I started working on this card by stamping my current favorite Reverse Polka Dot Background in Lake Shores ink onto a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2″ white cardstock panel. I used my Tim Holtz stamp platform and double stamped this image for perfect ink coverage. Fun fact – I think that’s how I packed my platform – with this stamp set inside!
Next, I stamped the stork and blanket and did some super simple Copic coloring. I actually colored the blanket a few times – I was trying to decide which colors would look best and ended up using BG11 and BG32. Cut those out using coordinating dies.
I also stamped clothing pieces using black for the outline as well as Duckling, Sunshine, Lake Shores and Fog for the solid layers. Also cut those out with the help of coordinating dies.
I foam mounted all of the pieces in place using my Scrapbook Adhesives white foam squares. I also stamped Welcome Little One using Cobblestone ink. I added an enamel eye onto the stork – I think that added so much character to this image and also adhered a glitter enamel heart onto the blanket.

Hope you will get unpacked and back to crafting easily! This is adorable! Your cousin will be pleased, I’m sure.
Cute! I’m sure it will be well received. With a stamp set packed with your platform, I imagine you’ll be all set to jump right into card marking once you get settled into your new place!!! (You’ll just have to find your platform!!!) All the best with your move; hope it goes smoothly; and I wish you all the very best in your new home. PS: I really like coloring with the polychrom pencils and like the way they work on the gray toned paper. Thanks for the tip!
One more thing: Arizona will miss you!
So sweet Yana, what a cute set. I am sure your cousin will love it!
Such a cute soft card! Lovely!
This card is just darling! I wish you good fortune on this new adventure.
Super cute card!! Love all the polka dots and those little pieces of clothing hanging on the line. Just too cute! Great colour scheme too.
The polka dot background it an ideal one for this type of card and the copic pens means you have plenty of colours to use for the images you die cut too. Great that you were able to make such a design even though most of your craft resources had been packed up and shipped already. Thank you for sharing this with us crafters. :O)
So very sweet!!
