Simon Says Stamp | Warm Christmas. Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello friends, I’m excited to join Simon Says Stamp for their Holiday Sparkle Release Blog Hop. My favorite set from this release is the Warm Christmas, I adore sets like this, perfect for those living in warmer climates, without snow and cold weather. This set reminds me very much of Phoenix, Arizona, where I used to live for several years.

CARD DETAILS

I wanted to do a simple ink-blended scene for the background, I made one using a brilliant Horizon Lines stencil and Seafoam ink. I blended several rows of clouds and one hill all using the same color of ink.

Next, I stamped and colored my scene using Copic markers (all colors listed in the supply list). I foam mounted my die-cut images onto the background, added a stamped “Happy Holidays” and stamped several seagulls in black ink (seagulls come from the Seas & Greetings stamp set).

With my card nearly done I decided I wanted to add sun, so I die-cut a circle from Sunshine cardstock and tucked it behind the die cuts for a bright pop of yellow. I love the result!
