Hello friends and happy Saturday! Today I’m joining Simon Says Stamp for 2-day blog hop celebrating their new Believe in You release. I’m excited to share a simple modern thank you card featuring some easy cardmaking techniques.

CARD DETAILS
To create this card I dry embossed Faceted Stripes stencil on Smoke Gray cardstock. It’s very easy to create an embossed background using a stencil and results are always beautiful. All you need for this is a die cutting machine and rubber embossing mat.
Next, I stamped two monstera leaves from the Tropical Leaves stamp set in the following colors of ink: Key Lime, Evergreen, Black. The black doesn’t actually look like black here, it looks more like deep dark green, but that layer was in fact stamped in black. The panel was foam mounted onto a background. I antique gold embossed “Thank You” and “Grateful For You”, cut them out and foam mounted on the card.
The card was decorated with Sunken Treasure and Girl’s Best Friend sequins.
