I love when I am able to use my stamp sets over and over again for various projects. Today I decided I would use one stamp set, Tons of Hearts and create several quick easy to mass produce cards that are great to use as Valentine’s Day cards or just simple and quick Love You cards for loved ones.

VIDEO TUTORIAL

CARD DETAILS
I stamped 4 different backgrounds using the Tons of Hearts stamp set. There’s literally tons of different size hearts included in that stamp set and that make it super easy to stamp any kinds of patterns and backgrounds. I used the largest size heart and every other size heart after that to stamp these plus 3 smallest hearts as accents.
For my color combo I went with a pink and yellow combination and also added bit of gray and lots of white. The colors of ink I used are (all are dye inks from Simon Says Stamp): Duckling, Melon, Sunkist, Hollyhock, Hot Lips.
To make my cards somewhat playful I also stamped critters onto each panel. I stamped mice and birds from the Stacking Animals set and colored all of them using just a few colors of Copic markers. I used W1, W3 and W5.
I also added some white gel pen accents and filled eyes of the critters with glossy accents for some shine and dimension (I only coated birds eyes).

These cards are so lovely!!! Great design, they would be perfect even without critters. But this bird and mice – omg! So adorable!
thank you, Svitlana! yes, that bird makes me smile every single time 🙂
Love how you pull out older stamps and remind me to us what I have. Of course I’ve forgotten that I have them. Love the design.
I too often forget 🙂 thank you!
I have numerous heart stamps and now I know how I can use what I have – wonderful idea !
A great set of cards for using just one stamp set.
I love how you have showed all the versatility of these three stamp sets, and the various ink colors. Love your video! You explain things so well as you do it! Looking forward to seeing more. 🙂
