Simon Says Stamp | Snail Mail Card + Photo Tutorial + Happy Mother’s Day!

Hello friends! I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday celebrating Mother’s Day. My mom and I went out today for a quite brunch, I brought her some flowers and also a special little gift along with a Mother’s Day card I made awhile ago. Here’s a quick photos of us today:

In other news I’m finally back to crafting! I’be been making cards non stop on Friday and Saturday (and some this morning too) and I have lots to share with you. Today I have a fun Snail Mail card featuring an adorable snail from Simon’s Under The Sea Animals set.

CARD DETAILS

I started working on this card by stamping the background text first – Snail Mail, I used letters from the Stitched Alphabet set.

I arranged the letters on the lid of my stamp platform and first stamped the middle row. Next, I moved my paper and stamped top and bottom row. Once my background stamping was complete I colored letters using an RV10 Copic marker to make them light pink.

I also stamped and die-cut an adorable little snail. Used Copic markers to color him (RV10, RV21, E31, E13). Next, I also die-cut a circle out of vellum, foam mounted snail onto the circle and added a white heat embossed sentiment that reads “Take It Slow And Steady”. I hid my foam adhesive under the snail and sentiment to foam mount vellum circle onto the card.

Lastly, I embellished this card using Butterfly Kisses sequins from Simon.
