Hello, friends and happy Sunday! I’m back to share a fun Summery card featuring Simon’s new Be a Mermaid stamp set. I love the awesome mermaid tails included in this set and couldn’t resist using one of them to make a fun “Sending You Vitamin Sea” card.

CARD DETAILS
Since Summer travel most likely won’t happen this Summer due to the virus, this card is more than appropriate to send to a friend who is used to traveling to the seaside during Summer. Wouldn’t you agree?
To create this card:
- Stamp images in Simon’s Intense Black ink on Neenah Solar White 80lb Cardstock.
- Color mermaid tail with BG18, BG13, BG11; color shells with Y35, Y13, Y11 and RV14, RV11, RV10; color sea with B000, B00, B02.
- Cut images out using coordinating dies.
- Trim background panel to 3 3/4 x 5″. Foam mount waves to create the sea. Offset each wave. Foam mount mermaid tail.
- Stamp sentiment using the Mini MISTI stamping tool. Foam mount seashells. Stamp bubbles.
- Foam mount panel to an A2 side folding Fog card base.
- Coat bubbles with Sea Breeze Nuvo Drops. Cover all images with Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Sparkle pen.
The Nuvo drops in Sea Breeze and Nuvo Shimmer Sparkle pen add beautiful detail to this card. The drops add dimension and the shimmer pen adds gorgeous sparkle.
