Simon Says Stamp | Sending You Love

Hello, friends, and happy Saturday! I’m quickly popping in with a new card project I made using my new favorite stamp set from Simon Says Stamp – Spring Bouquets. These are a treat to color! Loving it!

CARD DETAILS

I heat embossed flowers in Simon’s Antique Gold embossing powder on Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock and colored it using my Copic markers. It has been a while since I last did this (heat embossed an outline and colored the image in with Copics), it is good to re-visit an old technique. I love this look.

I cut the image out with a coordinating die and also cut 3 additional blank layers – adhered all together to create a sturdy, chipboard-like piece. To make a background for this card I stamped the same image in watermark ink onto Simon’s Sea Glass cardstock. I foam mounted my colored cluster on top and added the “Sending You Love” sentiment. Finally, I embellished my card with Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.
