Hello crafty friends! I’m thrilled to be joining Simon Says Stamp today for their Rain or Shine Release Blog Hop featuring the No Place Like Home stamp set + coordinating dies. This set is right up my alley! I love anything with cute little houses so I couldn’t resist making a card with these images.

CARD DETAILS
I stamped images in Memento Tudexo Black ink onto Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock and colored houses red, pink, and yellow. This is such a pretty color combo, it always works!
I used just 2 markers for each color – a lighter color to coat the entire house with a single color and a shade darker marker to add a visible shadow line. Love this look!
I also added a few trees, a die-cut “Home” and stamped birds in the sky. The background was made using a panel of Fog cardstock – I love using solid color cardstock for the background of my cards. You can definitely do some ink blending and create a ground and sky-type scene here.
The Fog panel was cut to 4 x 5 1/4″ and foam mounted onto the A2 card base using thin foam adhesive for a little bit of dimension. Love the final result!
