Hello, everyone! Its that time of the month again! New October Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp is out and its gorgeous! Lots of pinks and gold and you know me, I can’t resist me some gold, lol!

There are lots of gorgeous double sided patterned papers from My Mind’s Eye in this month kit as well as matching journaling cards some of which have also been pre-die cut and a fabulous Painted Hello die!
Here’s a look at the card I made using this kit – a simple I’m Here For You Anytime. You need this kind of card from time to time to encourage someone and help them get through a hard time in their life.
I used two different sheets of patterned paper and cut both out using Simon’s Stitched rectangle die to create a faux stitched panel for my card. I wanted to add real stitching to this project, but didn’t have my sewing machine with me at the time (I recently moved and couldn’t bring it with me, although I’ve already bought a new one) so I used a die instead, love the finished look and that faux stitched edge!
The simple I’m here for you anytime sentiment was stamped using Gold ink onto one of the journaling cards, which was also adhered on top of another card at an angle and later foam mounted onto my base panel.
I also added a gold ampersand – it was punched from one of the cards and adhered a handmade tassel which I created using the DMC floss from my kit.
