Simon Says Stamp | Meowy Wishes Christmas Card

I kept busy all day yesterday by doing housework and remembering the happy kitty memories. At the end of the day, I made another kitty card with the supplies I had sitting on my desk. It felt therapeutic. I’m glad I have cardmaking in my life.

While both of our kitties were pitch black, the cats I’ve been coloring lately are peach in color, I’ve actually been coloring my Mom’s cat. I used the same colors of markers as I did on my previous card: E51, E31, E33, E15, E37. I colored the gift green, to match the white embossed background, using YG03, YG17, YG67, and added a red bow colored using  R20, R22, R24, R27, R39. This kitty image comes from Simon’s Feline Like Christmas Spinners set.

The background was white embossed using Simon’s Holiday Words Background, I embossed a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2″ panel and adhered it to A2 white side folding card base. Next, I added a die cut heart with the stamped kitty and sentiment.
