Simon Says Stamp | Meowy Catmas Christmas Card

If you have cats, you’ll relate to a Meowy Christmas or Meowy any day really. When I saw this Meowy Catmas stamp set from Simon Says Stamp I immediately fell in love. Yes, it is not a stamp set one will be able to use for every Christmas card, but it’s just one of those hilarious sets you simply must-have if you are a cat person.

CARD DETAILS

This card was was super easy to make. First, I stamped images of 3 cats in black ink on white cardstock. I picked several Copic markers to color the kitties and went with mostly browns, greens and reds. I used: E79, E37, E33, E31; R39, R37, R24; G99, G94, YG03.

There are coordinating dies available so I used mine to cut the kitties out in my Deep Sea die cutting machine. To create a background and set the scene I adhered a panel of Sea Glass cardstock to A2 white card base and added white snow using a Sakura pen.

I placed the die cuts on the panel and added a sentiment – “Wishing You a Meowy Catmas“. I stamped it in black ink and foam mounted the die cuts in place.

Lastly, I used a white pen and added highlights to several sections to add detail to this card. I enjoyed making this funny Christmas card and I really look forward to using this stamp set again and again in the future.
