Hi everyone! I’m back with another project – today I have a card using the fabulous March Card kit from Simon Says Stamp.
There’s no video this time, I have been filming way too many of them lately, I need to take a break from video tutorials for some time. If I am up for it – I’ll make another card and will film that 😉 .
March card kit has some beautiful yellow + grey papers and journaling cards from Authentic. There’s also a bottle of liquid pearls, which to be honest is a new product for me. Just like perfect pearls, I’ve never ever ever used liquid pearls before. I will definitely have to practise making cute little pearl-like drops a bit more 🙂 .
My card is a very simple one – I created a card base using black cardstock from the kit, added a panel of dictionary paper, placed a journaling card on top and a little banner.
I used the circles die to embellish the top part of my die cut and made it look like it was torn from a notebook. The little banner was hand cut using the leftover patterned paper.
I also stamped yellow flowers and leaves and added a sentiment in black. To embellish my card I used liquid pearls in black and added a few onto my journaling card.
Supplies:
As soon as I saw the colors in this kit, I thought of you, Yana. Because you use this color combo a lot. 🙂
Love your pretty card; the Eiffel Tower is one of my favorite images and you have featured that journaling card so nicely here!
I do love this color combo, its always so easy to make a card using these colors for me. Thank you, Joy!
Hi Yana,
I do like the card, the black sentiment over the yellow flowers looks great, you’ve tied everything in so nicely
thank you, Di!
