Hello, crafters. Welcome back for another Yippee For Yana video! With Valentine’s Day not too far away I decided to create a card for a crafty friend. This video shows a non-traditional crafty Valentine’s Day card. I am using older supplies from Simon Says Stamp to stamp this card, and hopefully you already have these in your stash. CARD DETAILS
I started by planning a sentiment and picked one that reads “Love You Like Craft Supplies” from CZ Love You Like stamp set. Isn’t it brilliant? Next, I needed to find an image of a craft supply and I spotted one in the Hand Crafted with Love stamp set. Bingo! With my sentiment planned, next I wanted to have a colorful background for my card. I used the Retro Tiles background stamp and stamped it in various colors of ink (Cantaulope, Peachy, Melon, Grapefruit, Citrine) with the help of Simon’s A2 Stencil Masks.
To continue the colorful theme of this card, I used yellow cardstock for the card base. It is so unexpected! You open the card and you see happy cheerful yellow on the inside! Plus, there’s a funny message: “And that’s a whole lot!”.
