Simon Says Stamp | Like My Cat

Hello, hello friends! I’m typing this blog post from a hotel room in China. We are here on a month long work trip and that means I’m away from my craft room. While I’m not making any new projects I still have a few that I’ve made beforehand to share. Here’s one for cat-lovers!

CARD DETAILS

I love animals and we have two furry kitty “monsters” living with us at home (my father in law is taking care of them while we are away). I say monsters because they are spoiled as can be.

This card is nothing more than simple stamping and easy copic marker coloring.

I started by stamping a kitty image on white paper, coloring it using W3, W1, RV14, RV13 and RV10 markers, cutting it out with the help of a circle die. Next, I stamped “Love You” circle sentiment in black ink and did very light ink blending using a circle stencil.

To make a background for this card I stamped a bunch of block sentiments in Twirling Tutu ink and added a freehand border using a black pen. Card done!
