Simon Says Stamp | June Card Kit Inspiration. Take 2

Hello, friends! Sharing another take on the Simon Says Stamp kit for June 2020 in this post. You can see my first card posted HERE. I’m in love with the patterned paper and the butterfly stamps included in this kit. So absolutely gorgeous!

CARD DETAILS

I started on this card by stamping 3 butterflies in VersaFine Onyx Black ink on a peach patterned paper panel. Next, I cut the panel out using Spellbinders Essential Rectangle die and also dry-embossed it.

I enjoyed using plastic letters included in the kit and so I used them to spell “Missing You Much” for this card, I also heat embossed them using Satin White embossing powder from Hero Arts to add a beautiful satin shine to them.

After adhering the letters to the card I realized I wanted to add another butterfly on top. So I heat embossed the largest one in Antique Gold embossing powder on some dark green cardstock from my stash, cut it out using scissors and adhered to the card.

Lastly, I added a “The Most Beautiful Thing” sticker and adhered my panel to the A2 white side folding card base.

This project features unusual colors for me, I can’t say I can remember the last time I used peach color on my card, but I absolutely love the results!
