VIDEO TUTORIAL
As always, I filmed a video tutorial showing how to create this project from start to finish. I’m hoping you’ll enjoy it. Watch it below or on my Youtube channel.

DETAILS
This month kit features, among other things, a book of clear stickers by Amy Tangerine. I was never a fan of clear stickers (just something about them doesn’t appeal to me), but I loved the designs in this particular sticker book so I used a trick for my cards – I adhered my stickers onto white cardstock and next cut them out with my scissors. This gave me sturdy cardstock embellishments for my cards!
I paired stickers with the patterned papers from my kit and some minimal stamping. I also used foam adhesive from my kit to pop things up and also sequins to embellish my cards. I even layered some of the stickers to create new ones – the “sunshine” sticker was adhered onto a light pink banner to make a word banner.
I stamped “You’re One In A Melon” sentiment for my second card and added several watermelon stickers-embellishments along with a few sequins. I also used foam adhesive here to pop things up on my card and make it dimensional.

This is so cute Yana, a great way to cover up a ‘mistake OR a change of plan’. Very nicelt done.
I am in total agreement with you Yana; I don’t like stickers and I definitely don’t like stickers on my cards BUT you have shown me a way that I can use a sticker if I find one I like. Thank you for demonstrating this TOPTIP. :O)
Love that you made cards with the stickers. I never use stickers and have been struggling with them because I just don’t like stickers but you made cards that I adore with them! I am curious what you used as a backdrop for your photos. That gray concrete looking background makes the colors pop so much!
Hey Ashley!
Thank you!
The background is something I painted the other day. I used a piece of dry wall and some old paints in gray and white, a sponge (like one to wash dishes) and just dabbed away! I posted some photos on my instagram story the other day, it’s featured in the highlights in my profile under “Photography” – https://www.instagram.com/stories/highlights/17864578648258714/
Oh wow that’s awesome! Thanks for responding
Cute cards Yana–I’m just waiting for my kit to arrive.
Fabulous cards! I love the bird card with the patterned-paper panel popped up. 🙂
Awesome cards, love this kit. I hate stickers on cards also, great video and tips as always. Thanks
Beautiful cards 🙂 I have a lot of stickers but somehow don’t use them on cards.. Guess I should start giving it a try 🙂
