With Spring being not that far away I reached for my Spring stamps the other day when I wanted to create. One of my favorite Spring stamps from Simon is the one released some time ago – Spring Seeds. I had so much fun with it last year when I used it to make some quick cards (see them here).

CARDS DETAILS
This time I decided to combine bunny image together with one of Simon’s lace-like backgrounds – the Rebecca Lace. I white heat embossed this lace background onto kraft paper, trimmed to 4 x 5 1/4″ and foam mounted onto an A2 white card base.
Next, I stamped bunny image and Hello Spring sentiment. I used Copic markers and did some very quick coloring. I went with warm grays C5, C3 and C1 to color the bunny, used RV10 and RV11 to color banner and flowers; YG03 and YG17 to color leaves and finally YR00 to color the ears and nose of my bunny.
I cut this image out using a coordinating die in my Platinum die cutting machine and foam mounted onto my background. I used Tonic Aqua Shimmer pen to add shimmer to the flowers and also embellished this card using Carnation Pink Nuvo Drops.
I’m officially ready for the Spring to come!

PIN THIS PROJECT
Are you on Pinterest? I’d love for your to pin this project if you like it! Thanks!
Your card is beautiful! I love the heat embossed background and the pink Nuvo drops 🙂
WOW! I just love that card! And that stamp! So pretty with the kraft and white. You have outdone yourself again.
Yana is amazing!
What a simple and yet absolutely beautiful card!
Loving the subtle softness to this card Yana. Such a pretty background stamp. Another set I would love to have! Silly question, is there a reason you don’t have a comment section on the post you send out. I’m on your mailing list (love it) but I usually have to come here to make a post directly on your blog. I’m not lazy, but I have to type out all the info as well to send the post. Am I missing something?
thank you, Doris! The post I send out comes via email and to my knowledge one can’t have a comments embedded in the email, comments are only possible on the blog. Does that make sense? Maybe I misunderstood your question.
What a soft background and a lovely bunny! The dew drops are a great touch!
Love this card!!!! What a great use of the background stamp and lovely coloe combination..
Super pretty and super cute!
Super pretty; super cute!
Yana, this card is just gorgeous! I love the white against the kraft and that bunny is just too adorable!
Yana,
Yet again a very beautiful card design using SSS products. I wonder whether you can help me Yana. I am looking for a large background stamp to use with my coloured pencils and markers, which stamp background would you say is the most versatile one you have in your stash at present? It needs to be a background stamp that I can purchase in the UK though, sorry if this causes more of a problem. :O)
Nice card. I really like that background stamp. I love the white on craft card stock.
Beautiful card Yana! You are so talented. I love everything you make!
The Rebecca Lace background stamp is so elegant, it is especially so embossed on kraft. The bunny makes an awesome focal image with this background. A nice job.
So very sweet!!
