Hello all and thank you for joining us as we celebrate the new mini product release from Simon Says Stamp called From All Of Us. Yay!

There’s a fun giveaway at the bottom of this post, but before that I wanted to share a little bit about my favorite product from this launch – its the Jingle Snowflake. I think I have fallen in love with this one and at first I had no idea how to use it, but after I cut it the first time I was so desperately hooked, I’m telling you, lol!

Here’s a look at the card I made using the new goodies:

Before cutting the Jingle Snowflake out of Gold Mirror Cardstock I first embossed it onto my pearlescent white cardstock panel. I wanted to create some additional dimension and interest for my project, so I went with embossing. You can emboss just about any die with the help of an embossing mat, its super easy to do (watch my video below to see how).

My cardstock cracked in a few spots, but its okay, I could have spritzed it with water to help the fibers of the paper move and prevent them from breaking and cracking, but I knew I’d be placing my gold die cut on top, so that didn’t bother me at all.

I also heat embossed a Happy Holidays from All of Us sentiment in gold embossing powder and added a gold Believe sticker from American Crafts, love how it tied everything together.

Here’s another card I made using the Jingle Snowflake die. I did an ink smooched background on watercolor paper using Distress inks and added my gold die cut on top:

  2. What gorgeous cards! I think this jingle snowflake die has to be my favorite of the release, especially after seeing your cards!

  3. Absolutely love how you cut the Jingle Snowflake out of Gold Mirror Cardstock. It looks so elegant and clean. Both cards are gorgeous.

  4. I agree…the jinglesnowflake die is wonderful! Using mirror cardstock is a favorite of mine to add a little “bling”!
Love the wooden envelopes! Awesome cards!

  5. Beautiful cards and terrific video. Thanks! Your tip for covering the edges of the foam is much appreciated.

  6. Not only a beautiful card, but a terrific video. I am subscribing to your YT channel as well and sharing this video for sure! I loved how you embossed using the die and then inlaid the di cut in that space, it looks so elegant and special. Also liked your trick for using the pink fun foam with the glitter tape hiding the color. Thanks for all the ideas and inspiration.

  7. Both your cards are beautiful and I love the idea of laying the die-cut over its embossed image to provide a little depth. Thanks for sharing your ideas with us!

  8. Gorgeous cards–I love all your cool tips, using washi tape to disguise your color of foam, I’m definitely going to use that one!

  9. Great use of the music die. Thanks for sharing how you incorporated embossing with the die. I liked how it looked together.

  10. I like the way the snowflake is inlayed but also outlined in your card, it gives it the pop that is unique. Love it.

  11. Loved your video,I didn’t see the thumbs up option and I didn’t want to go searching for the video on you tube.I like how you showed us how to get the image of the die to sink into the paper, nice idea!! You asked what product we liked best for this tutorial, wow !!! That’s not easy as they were all cool and needed to complete this card but having to pick one I’d say the die, because without that there wouldn’t be the card. Thanks so much!!

  12. Very gorgeous and elegant. Will have to watch your video later (have to go to work pretty soon – ugh!). Looking forward to seeing how you did this …
