Simon Says Stamp | Festive Bouquets Card. Video

Hello, crafters. Welcome back for another Yippee For Yana video! Today I am creating a Christmas card with the Simon Says Stamp Festive Bouquets stamp set. This is a gorgeous floral set with 2 large floral clusters and some beautiful sentiments.

CARD DETAILS

I started to work on my card by stamping the larger floral cluster in Memento Tuxedo black ink, on Neenah Solar White cardstock. Next, I did flick-style coloring using Copic markers, be sure to watch my video tutorial for the how-to, it is very easy and you just need a few markers.

Next, I cut the image out using a coordinating die. To create a background for my card I used one of the Color Blend cardstock from Simon Says Stamp, I picked one in teal. This is my first time using the Color Blends and I’m already in love! This paper is thick, has rich color, and a perfect ombre color blend. It is also perfect for foiling, which led me to create a foiled sentiment. I used one from my A Merry Little Christmas Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate and Die Set for Spellbinders and foiled it in gold foil. I foam-mounted the floral cluster in the center trimming just a tiny bit off.

Lastly, I embellished my card using the Confetti Gumdrops from Simon to add a bit of sparkle. So here’s a look at the card I have for you today created with the Festive Bouquets stamp set from Simon Says Stamp. Have fun stamping!
