CARD DETAILS
I started working on my project by heat embossing Carolers from Simon’s Carol Singers stamp set in Clear embossing powder over Versafine Black stamped outline onto Arches Hot Pressed watercolor paper. I used my favorite watercolor colors and quickly colors them (I used: Pyrrol Red, Olive Green, Sodalite Genuine, Transparent Brown). Once my coloring was dry I cut images out using coordinating dies.
To create a background for my card I used stencils from the Frozen Fractals set and blended Tumbled Glass as well as a bit of Peacock Feathers Distress ink over them. I trimmed ink blended panel to 4 x 5 1/4″ and foam mounted onto the card. I also foam mounted my carol singers.
To create a sentiment I used a new Fa La La stamp set and coordinating die. I stamped Fa La La in Lipstick Red ink, cut out using coordinating die and foam mounted onto the card. I also heat embossed “Making Spirits Bright” in white embossing powder onto black cardstock. Lastly, I used confetti in red and gold from the Rainbow Confetti Mix to embellish this card.

I just love that little holiday trio card. So darn cute!
I can’t get over the details and color on your cards! Amazing!
Wow! Your card today is so cute… and your non-trad card yesterday is so very elegant. I love that you can do just about any style and do it so well!
What an adorable card – your carolers are so cute and the stenciled background is lovely. Oh – and I can’t wait to pick up your watercolor palette
Sweet card! Love the background and the cute carolers!
Loving the water colors!
Lovely, as always!
What a cute card! Your coloring is awesome!
Great water colors !!
That soft background is so beautiful! I love the scene you created.
Two absolutely terrific cards!
Love your cards so much! And I love that indigo and gold combo. So so elegant 🙂
Super cute card!!! Yana, please be careful with your paints and use a towel instead of your hand. I know Daniel Smith took the Cadmium out of their Cadmium red, yellow, etc. but I believe their Pthalo shades, Chromes, Manganese, Vermillion, and Umbers are still toxic, among others. http://carolineroberts.blogspot.com/2009/01/toxicity-of-pigments.html
What an adorable card…
Such a cute card!!
You’ve created such an adorable Christmas card using the falala die cut and stamp. I loved your water coloring techniques.
Wonderful watercoloring. Congrats on having your own Daniel Smith dot card! These are the best watercolors.
What a cute card! I love that you combined several different stamp sets and die cuts to your project.
This release has something for every crafter. Such fun cards. Those carolers are adorable!
Thanks for sharing these amazing cards, Yana! I love the design and fabulous colour scheme of your fun Fa La La card (the red, olive, white and soft blue is stunning and that Fa La La die is to die for :-)), and as for your non-traditional indigo card? A thing of beauty!
Wonderful watercoloring of the fun carolers and a lovely background created with those pretty snowflake stencils. Very sweet!
This card is the Christmas spirit card !!
This is so precious!!
Love it, the bright colors and the light background work so well together.
So cute and colourful! Thank you for sharing!
That card is adorable!! I can’t help but smile at those critters.
Awesome little holiday singing trio! So adorable and all the red detail really makes your card pop!
Love seeing that fractal stencil used with the watercoloring… I have some great ideas now!
This card is brimming with holiday cheer. Thanks for sharing.
Wow! I LOVE your cards. The fist one is adorable! I love how you did the background. The second one is so VERY pretty! I love the background with the gold and I love the stain glass Love.
An adorable card! Loved how you colored the trio.
I’m not a fan of stamps like the trio, but you made your card so well done and cute. And I love what you’ve done with the LOVE card.
This is an adorable little Christmas band.
Very nice water colors on your trio of singers! I enjoy the childlike charm of them too. Also the beauty of the blue Christmas background card.
