Simon Says Stamp | Deep Embossed Clean & Simple Cards + New Release

Hello, friends! There’s a new release happening over at Simon Says Stamp – Rainbows. And oh boy, it is a fun one! There are so many great products to play with! I have 4 cards to share all made with a new 3D embossing folder (it is my new favorite design).

CARD DETAILS

The cards I made are SUPER simple. I used colored cardstock, watermark ink, simple foiled sentiments, and some gems/sequins. Easy! The two cards above (close-ups below) feature an embossed design on colored cardstock. I embossed it on Sea Glass and Cream. Next, I stacked both panels, took them to my paper trimmer, and cut them at an angle.

Next, I mixed them and used half blue and half cream to make a background. I adhered the embossed background onto A2 white side folding card base and added foiled sentiments on top. Lastly, I embellished these with some jewels from Pretty Pink Posh.

For the other set of cards, I also added some watermark inking on top. After embossing the design on Fog and Soft Navy cardstock, I gently rubbed the watermark ink pad over the raised areas of the image. This helped the design pop.
