CARD DETAILS

I started making this card by stamping wreath image in Hero Arts Moss ink. This particular ink is hybrid and doesn’t bleed when comes in contact with alcohol markers. I colored the tiny leaves using YG03 marker and this gave me light green leaves with slightly darker green outline to them. I really love the way it turned out – very soft and elegant looking. Next, I used coordinating die and die-cut the image out.

To make a card front I cut a piece of white cardstock to 4 1/8 x 5 3/8″. I drew a half circle about the size of the wreath using a pencil and next pierced holes using my Tool ‘n One. I hand stitched the top portion of the wreath competing the circle using gold thread. You can see it up-close below:

Next, I gold heat embossed a simple classy sentiment in the lower portion of the panel. After foam mounting the wreath I adhered the panel onto an A2 white side folding card base and added white and gold flat sequins. Finally, I created red berries on the wreath by using my Tonic Studios drops.
