Hello, friends! I was organizing my stamps the other day and came across Simon’s Circle Doodle background stamp, I used it last fall to create a wood slice like background and remembered I wanted to do a floral one as well. So I pulled out my watercolors and painted away!

CARD DETAILS
I heat embossed Circle Doodle background onto Arches Hot Pressed watercolor paper in Simon’s Antique Gold embossing powder and used my Daniel Smith watercolors to color these circles as flowers. Think wild ranunculus growing in the field and blooming in different vibrant colors.
I mixed a lot of my my own colors by combining yellow with red, magenta and peach. After my background was done I adhered it onto an A2 card base (I trimmed the background slightly) and added a simple Hollyhock stamped “Smile” on top.
To add a bit of my texture and interest to this card I used my Nuvo Drops in White, Bubblegum Blush and Carnation Pink and added a number of colorful drops onto the background. I love the way this card turned out – very feminine and warm!
