Hello, friends! It’s a busy week over at Simon Says Stamp with a wonderful new Believe in You release debuting today. As always, I have several inspirational projects to share with you created using new and old goodies from Simon, I’ll be sharing them over the next couple of days. Today I have a heat embossed “You’re The Best” card.

CARD DETAILS
This card uses 3 stamp sets from Simon, 2 of which are brand new. The background was created using new Stripe Jumble Background. I clear heat embossed it on dark blue cardstock for a beautiful tone on tone look. I think this is a perfect background for masculine cards and I see it working well on other colors of cardstock, perhaps heat embossed in white. I’ll have to try that.
I also used a new Greetings Mix 1 stamp set for the Art Deco-inspired sentiment – “You’re The Best”, I heat embossed it in Antique Gold embossing powder on same dark blue cardstock and cut out using my paper trimmer.
Finally, I gold heat embossed several leaves from the older Bold Flowers set and cut them out with the help of a coordinating die. The card was embellished using sequins from the Gala and Stay Gold mixes.
