Simon Says Stamp | August Card Kit – Mandy’s Flowers Take Four

Hello friends! I’m back with my last take on the Simon’s August 2018 card kit – this is the 5th card I made using these gorgeous products and I’m excited to see what the September kit is going to bring us. August kit is sold out, but you can still shop many of the individual components separately. CARD DETAILS

I love the scripty patterned paper from BoBunny in the August kit and I wanted to use the little piece I had left (I used it on another card here) to make another card. I adhered it vertically on my A2 white side folding card. Next, I stamped “With Love” in black ink next to it going vertically.

I stamped, colored and cut out the one image I hadn’t still used from the stamp set from the kit – this beautiful flower in a vase. I used blue markers and colored this vase as if it was metal, at least that’s what I was going for. I used the following colors:

• Pink: RV09, RV14, RV13, RV11, RV10
• Green: YG67, YG63, YG03
• Blue: B99, B34, B21, B000

Once again I cut my image out using scissors (you can get coordinating dies if you want) and foam mounted on my card. I added some additional pink cardstock strips with a stamped sentiment and also a few enamel hearts in pink.
