Hello friends! I’ve been busy making Valentine’s Day projects and today I have a set of fun heart-shaped cards, round boxes and see-through treat bags to share! I made all of these using Spellbinders Exclusive Lattice Hearts Large Die Of The Month.
As of September 2016 I work as an in-house creative designer at Spellbinders office in Phoenix. While I do a lot of work for them and create a number of different projects I am only sharing what I truly love made using their products here on my blog. I do not and never will share projects or mention products I not love.

PROJECTS DETAILS
I had so much fun working with this die set and I think it’s my favorite to date! The largest heart die is big enough to make a good size heart-shaped card, I don’t remember the exact size (I made this at work and I don’t have this die set at home to measure as I am writing my post), I think it’s about 4″ wide, maybe a bit bigger; be sure to check the website for exact measurements.
I die-cut heart-shaped card bases out of white cardstock (I covered the front with hot pink paper, it looks almost red in the photo) and added lattice die cut hearts on top with the help of foam adhesive. I also cut a simple banner shape out of vellum, die-cut another heart out of gold foil paper, layered some white under it and popped that on the front of my card.
Couldn’t resist adding a resin flower, some gold leaves and a bit of gold thread to finish it off.
I also made little round boxes (using This Time Around die) out of same hot pink paper and embellished the lids using other dies from this die set. You can see the two different lids on the photo below.
Finally, I also decorated a white treat bag – I used the lattice heart die and die cut lattice opening in the bag itself so that one can see through to the inside of the bag and even all the way through. I love versatile dies like this! I also popped another lattice heart on top and added a few more elements to complete this piece.
