CARD DETAILS
I am using a gorgeous Boo stamp from Pretty Pink Posh, it comes from the Pretty Pink Posh Boo stamp set and aside from this image there are also some Halloween icons included as well as a skinny strip sentiment that reads “Happy Halloween To You”. It’s not one of those scary Halloween sets, but definitely, one that’s on the cuter side.
I gold heat embossed “Boo” on light purple cardstock and ink blended the panel edges with light and dark purple inks for a dramatic effect. For even more drama I ink blended black just barely around the edges.
Next, using white and black pens I colored the icons that make up the “Boo”. Coloring with a white pen on dark colors of cardstock is really one of my favorite ways to color. You can’t achieve this look using markers or pencils, only using paint and with paint, it’s not easy to color such tiny spaces as these here, for example, so using a pen is a fabulous alternative.
Finally, I added a white heat embossed “Happy Halloween To You” sentiment and embellished the card with Midnight jewels.
