Hello friends! Today I have a fun & colorful Ice Cream card to share featuring stamps from Picket Fence Studios. This is a new-to-me company with some unique and out of the box stamp designs. I hope you’ll check them out! I’ll be sharing a few additional projects using their unique stamps soon.
When we were in Italy back in August we had the most delicious gelato and the taste of it, in a way, inspired today’s card!

CARD DETAILS
I started working on my project by stamping ice cream images from the Ice Cream You Scream stamp set in alcohol marker friendly ink onto white paper. Next, I used Copic markers, and inspired by my recent coloring using just 2 shades for each color, I quickly colored it.
I used the following Copic marker colors:
- Y15, Y17
- RV21, RV23
- YG01, YG03,
- BG11, BG32,
- W1
Once my coloring was done I created a stencil by stamping the ice cream image onto paper, cutting the actual image out and leaving a negative behind. I used the negative to apply glimmer paste for “sugar coated” look on top of my ice cream.
Finally, I adhered my colored panel onto a card base made out of Sea Glass cardstock from Simon Says Stamp, this one is super tall card – 4 1/4 x 8 1/2″, and embellished my card using several sequins from Picket Fence Studios.

Stunning! Please make a Christmas card with the ice cream stamps—just leave off the cones. You could even use the same colors. Maybe even add a star on top. I would LOVE to see this. Your work is amazing
