Good morning, crafty friends! I am up on Spellbinders blog sharing a simple idea for dressing up gift packaging using paper flowers. I was at my Mom’s place the other day and she loves orchids, she has about 12 different kinds in all sorts of colors and sizes and that got me thinking that an orchid flower would look simply stunning as a gift topper. Her flowers inspired me to create those you see below.
I also chose orchids for another reason – they are ridiculously easy to make. I used Spellbinders Tool ‘n One and new stylus tips to help put those together, the stylus tips make it possible to shape petals and add beautiful dimension to flowers. Be sure to head over to Spellbinders blog to see the full tutorial and my tips on how to best use the new stylus tips.
This topper is beautiful and looks easy enough to do with the right die. Thanks for the inspiration.
it is very easy, much easier than other flowers and really only takes about 5 minutes, most of which is waiting for the glue to dry. Thank you, Mary!
Stunning! Such a beautiful topper!
thank you, darling!
