Hello and welcome to Day 2 of Neat & Tangled July 2015 release. Today we are introducing two stamp sets – Life is Beautiful and My Sunshine. I mentioned the My Sunshine set yesterday when I shared my vellum circles card, so today I’ll focus on the Life is Beautiful set.
Like this project? Remember to pin it and save for later!
I created a simple “suburban” card (if there is such thing as a “suburban” card) with a cute little girl standing in front of her white picket fence holding some fresh cut flowers. This little cutie would be super fun to pair with the girl from the Paris stamp set, I think they would look awesome on a card together (click here to see the Paris stamp set on a card).
I colored the girl and the flowers using my Copic markers. I’m still practicing coloring skin (I was trying to add freckles to her cheeks) and hair. Hopefully practice will make perfect. The white picket fence was die cut out of wood grain specialty paper from Simon Says Stamp using Spellbinders Victorian Picket die.

The little girl card is so sweet. The fence was a great addition it didn’t overwhelm the little girl.
