My Favorite Spellbinders Clubs | April 2023

Hello friends! I’m back to share some of my favorite Spellbinders Clubs for April 2023. As you know, I work for Spellbinders and I get to make cards with many of their products ahead of the release date, especially Clubs. The April 2023 Clubs are as always very inspiring and so I decided I would share my favorite April 2023 Clubs with you.

Spellbinders Club Kits is a subscription program. One can join and cancel any time, there is no minimum commitment. You can read more about how the program works HERE. Clubs are available in the USA and UK.

There are 8 different Clubs to choose from, depending on what kind of crafting you like to do: Quick & Easy Card Kit (great for beginners), Small Die, Large Die, Stitching Die (fantastic kit if you enjoy stitching), Glimmer Hot Foil Kit, Clear Stamp & Die Kit, Embossing Folder and 3D Embossing Folder Clubs. LARGE DIE OF THE MONTH

My fave this month is Large Die of the Month Club. I love the font used for the sentiments – big and beautiful, perfect to fill the card! Each sentiment has 2 parts – the sentiment itself and the shadow. Take a look for yourself:

I paired the sentiments with the background made using border dies from the April 2023 Small Die of the Month and flowers from the Four Petal Floral Thank You set, aren’t they gorgeous!

I used the Fruit Punch (it is such a lovely bright pink) and Persimmon colors along with additional shades of pink and orange (all linked below).

Here’s another card I did with the Large Die sentiments (and frame), so you can see how the sentiment dies can be used with or without the frame. The flowers are from the January 2023 Small Die of the Month:

GLIMMER KIT OF THE MONTH

Another Club I adore this month is the Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month and the Stencil add-on (if you want the add-on to ship together with your Club Subscription, you need to cancel the subscription and re-join while adding the Stencil add-on to cart at the same time, otherwise the stencil will have a shipping cost associated with it and ship separately).

The Glimmer is a beautiful half-card background with dies to cut some of the images out. And the stencil allows you to add graphic coloring to the foiled leaves. So clever! Watch the how-to on the Spellbinders Youtube channel:

I used the sentiment dies from the Large Die of the Month:

If you use the dies, you can some leaves out and use them separately, here I created a wreath. I didn’t use the stencil, but rather colored these using my Copic markers:
