Hello, stampers! In this video, I’m sharing a Valentine’s Day card created with the Love You Gnome Matter What stamp set from MFT Stamps. This set features 4 adorable gnomes all holding some sort of Valentine’s Day gift – either a heart-shaped balloon, a Cupid style bow and arrows, and a bag filled with mini hearts.

CARD DETAILS
I featured 3 out of the 4 gnomes on my card. To begin, I stamped the 3 I picked in alcohol marker-friendly ink onto white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers, and cut them out using coordinating dies.
Next, I made a bold and colorful background. For this, I used 3 colors of cardstock – yellow, light pink, dark pink, and a paper trimmer. I used a yellow panel as my base, it is cut to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I cut the other panels at an odd angle and adhered to my base.
I wanted to do something different for this project in terms of sentiment and instead of picking one, I used 3 sentiments – I heat embossed 2 longer sentiments in white embossing powder on black cardstock and I stamped one in black ink onto white cardstock. I cut all of them out to skinny strips and I added a strip of fun foam from the back to add dimension.
I’ve been loving the wonky sentiment placement lately, that makes it so much easier to not mess up a card, so I just adhered each sentiment slightly skewed onto the background – this added movement and playfulness to my card. Next, I foam mounted each of the gnomes above the sentiments

Very cute card. I’m in love with the gnomes now. Didn’t think that I would like them but they sure grew on me. Thanks for showing us this different take with the angles and wonky sentiments.
