Simon Says Stamp | Merry Christmas Wreath Card. Video

Hello friends! I love to use colored cardstock for my handmade cards as it’s one of the easiest ways to add a pop of color. Today I have a Merry Christmas wreath card to share featuring some old and new goodies from Simon Says Stamp.

CARD DETAILS

I started working on this card by stamping Mod Trees background in Evergreen ink on Leaf Green cardstock from Simon Says Stamp. Once done, I adhered this panel onto an A2 white side folding card base.

Next, I stamped Wishing You Peace & Joy using messages from the Tiny Words Christmas set and added a tiny heart in red below it. I foam mounted this panel onto the card.

After this I moved onto stamping the wreath. I used a wreath image from the Wreath Greetings stamp set and stamped it in Intense Black. I added a “Merry” stamped in Lipstick Red and “Christmas” stamped in Black from CZ Ornamental stamp set. Using a marker I colored the leaves and using a tiny dot stamp added red berries.

I die-cut the wreath out using a coordinating die. The die also cuts the inner part of the wreath out, I put the pieces back together, secured with foam squares from the back and foam mounted onto the card.

Finally, I embellished my card using Gold Jewels from Pretty Pink Posh. Hope you like this card idea!
