Hero Arts | Winter 2017 Catalog – You Are Bundles Of Joy

One of the stamps from Hero Arts Holiday 2017 catalog that I loved the most was the one with 4 funny Santa faces, Santa Faces Set. I paired it with the Color Layering Joy for a quick Christmas card.

CARD DETAILS

This card, by the way, is a great example how one can mess up stamping color layering images, but still get fun results. If you look closely at the “Joy” you’ll notice that the top most darkest layer is a bit odd. I didn’t realize it was a shadow layer when I was stamping this, so I stamped it over the base layer – right there in the middle. Regardless, I think it turned out rather fun. Do you have similar mistakes in your cardmaking?

After I stamped the “Joy” I also added 4 Santa faces stamped in Hero’s Intense Black ink. I used my Copic markers and did some quick coloring (listing exact colors below).

I trimmed my panel to 4 x 5 1/4″ and foam mounted onto an A2 card base, just like I always do. Using Stickles glitter I embellished the Santa’s hats and added a few red sequins to spice things up!
