Hello, friends! Summer is winding down slowly and, being here in Phoenix, I am actually happy. I’m definitely excited for some cooler temperature. However, while it’s still Summer and still hot I’d like to share a card from Hero Arts Summer 2017 Catalog – Surf’s Up!

CARD DETAILS
Hero Arts is notorious for their unique color layering stamp sets and this Turtle one is no exception! Perfect for Summer and beyond! I’m thinking this turtle would make a funny Christmas card if dressed in a Santa hat.
To create this card I stamped the turtle using 3 shades of green, cut out using coordinating die and foam mounted onto an oval stamped with Brushstroke background. I blended a soft layer of blue onto my A2 landscape card base, foam mounted my cluster on top and added “Surfs Up!” sentiment. Finally, I stamped and cut several flowers and starfish and adhered those onto my card.

Your turtle card is fun Yana, but I love your second card. From the day they were born, I told my “kids” (who are now young adults) that I loved them to the moon and back so I’ve always been partial to anything with that saying. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to the HA Kit coming out.

What an adorable card, we have a huge turtle that lives in our back yard for years, we named him and I must have hundreds of pictures of him over the years that I have scrapbooked so this would be a cool stamp and die to get for my collection.
