Hero Arts Holiday Blog Hop. Bring You Joy Card + Video + Giveaway

This post is also available in Українською мовою

Hi everyone! I’m taking part in a Handmade for Christmas Blog Hop from Hero Arts today, yay! We are sharing Holiday projects using Hero goodies.

Hero Arts Handmade for Christmas Blog Hop 2014

I made a simple Bring You Joy card on a clear card base using a fabulous Pen & Ink Christmas Tree stamp. Its been awhile since I made anything on an acetate card base, so I decided to give it a go.

As always, I’m sharing a video showing you how the card came together. I also talk about ways you can embellish this tree to make it more festive.

You can watch my video below or on Youtube. Enjoy!

  1. This card is so cool. I never knew what to do with the clear card base. You have answered my question! I also loved your video–very clear instructions and great tips. (I have a dog and 2 cats!)

  2. Thanks for this inspiration! I really like the white stamping (too) on the black card. It looks almost like chalkboard 🙂

  3. I love the look of the black on the acetate. This is beautiful with the gold embossing on the black cardstock.

  4. I didn’t know Hero Arts made acetate paper. The acetate I’ve used in the past didn’t work well, but I bet HA’s does. I’ll have to try that.

  5. THis is a great card! I always love the video of the making of the card! It helps so much to see how it all comes together! Thanks!

  6. I love it, love it, love it, it’s my favorite of all! Also thank you for the video I’m a visual person and need to watch how it’s done first, not a big reader of instructions. Thanks for sharing and the chance to win.

  7. What a lovely card! I would never have thought of using black cardstock for a Christmas card — not anymore! 🙂

  8. So pretty! Thank you for the video, too. I’ve only recently started following your videos on youtube, but have loved all of them so far!

  9. just loving watching your videos, both in english and ukrainiane – so easy to follow and such beautiful, always stylish cards!!! Thank you so much for all the inspiration you share. ps love the tree stamp!

  10. Beautiful card – love the acetate base. I never have the confidence to try acetate but your video was excellent and I am going to give it a try.
