Hello there! I have a simple floral Birthday card to share today using Hero Arts Color Layering Fuchsia stamp set. I am on a mission to make lots of Birthday cards to have on hand whenever needed (I always seem to have none). You might remember another Birthday card I shared not too long ago using Hero Arts goodies.

CARD DETAILS
Color Layering Fuchsia is one of those stamp sets that took me a bit longer to figure it out – I couldn’t find that one perfect color combo to use to stamp the flowers to get them to look exactly how I wanted. But after a few trial and error attempts I finally made this card and I’m rather happy with the way it turned out.
To make things to a bit easier I first die-cut flower and branch shapes out of white cardstock using coordinating dies and did my stamping later.
I used Soft Olive ink to stamp branches; for my flowers I used Soft Pink, Bubble Gum, Ultra Pink and Raspberry Jam (by the way, you can get all of these inks in May’s Shades Of Pink ink cube set).
After heat embossing a Birthday sentiment in white embossing powder onto a dark gray background I adhered branches using glue and foam mounted flowers on top. I felt like my card needed something extra in the background, so I adhered several Sparkling Clear sequins and added a generous amount of white enamel dots using Nuvo Drops.
Lastly, I foam mounted my gray panel onto an A2 top folding card base.
