Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing a Happy New Year Card using a very old (but still fun!) technique called faux embossing.
I’m going to use dies from Hero Arts to create a faux embossed Happy background for my card. Its very easy to do. It does take a little bit of time, but I think its worth the effort considering the result you end up having.
And by the way, I’m sharing this card over at the Virginia’s View Challenge where I am one of the guest designers this month for the new Clean & Simple Challenge. Be sure to check it out and join in on all the fun!
As always, I’m sharing a video tutorial showing you how my card was done and I also talk about the faux embossing and color coordinating products. Enjoy! You can watch my video here or on Youtube.
Like my video? Please give it a thumbs up! Thanks!
Thank YOU so much for guest designing over Virginia’s View Challenge! I love love the gorgeous design and your video is just icing on the cake! You rock, Yana!
thanks so much, Virginia!
