Elegant Congratulations Card using Spellbinders dies and First Edition Papers

Hello friends! I have a card to share with you today using some new and old dies from Spellbinders – I used some of my favorite sets and combined them with a new Victorian release.

I used papers from the Botanical Notes 12×12 paper pad from First Edition, it’s a UK manufacturer, I love their collections! This particular one has very beautiful floral designs with a lot of gold. I also used Gold Mirror Cardstock, I love it! It is perfect for cards like these. Too bad I only have a small amount left.

To do my stamping I used the Avery Elle Petals & Stems set and stamped a simple Congratulations in brown ink.

As for the dies, here’s a list of the sets I used. There’s a # next the name indicating the die number, the smallest die being number 1:

• IN-010 Silhouette,
• S4-110 Classic Ovals LG #5,
• S4-441 Mary Border Strip,
• S4-474 Oval Bliss #3, #4,
• S5-131 A-2 Matting Basics A #7,
• S5-132 A-2 Matting Basics B #7.

The A2 Matting Basics A and B sets are definitely among my favourites, I use those for just about every A2 card I make. So versatile and easy to use!

I also love the Silhouette die, it is perfect for feminine cards. Even the negative from this one looks stunning!

All of the elements on this card vere adhered using foam adhesive to create a bit of dimension.
