CARD DETAILS
If you know me, you know I love to stamp my own unique backgrounds. I used a Pop Art Pineapple stamp set to create a background for this card. I love that this set features several layering options to “dress up” a pineapple – I used all various layers to create a dynamic and diverse pattern for my card.
To add some color depth I used Hero Arts ombe inks in Butter to Orange, Green and Brown to do my stamping. I also stamped some cheerful flowers in between the pineapples using Butter Bar ink.
To create a sentiment I heat embossed dashed hello in white embossing powder onto brown cardstock, cut the image out using coordinating die and also cut identical layer out of fun foam. I wanted to pop my message up, but I didn’t want to go through the trouble of adding little foam adhesive pieces to the back of the die cut, so I used fun foam instead.
I also heat embossed Darling and tucked that behind the die cut hello. Lastly, I added several dots using Nuvo Drops in Morning Dew.
What do you think about this card? It screams “tropical” and “summer” to me.

This hello is so unique and eye catching! Like that you made it in brown for this tropical background. Ombre pineapples look more realistic, nice!
