Hello friends! I am slowly returning to crafting after being sick for most of February. I spent the first part of last month in Frankfurt, visiting the CreativeWorld Show with Spellbinders (I’m sharing some show photos below). I love this event and look forward to it every year as it is filled with incredible inspiration from different brands; the energy at that show is pulsing! This is also the time I get to connect with my craft and art friends in person, as well as network and meet new like-minded people. This time, sadly, I got sick on day 1 of my trip and missed most of the show. I did walk around the show a little bit, but being sick, all I could think of was how much I’d like to go back to my hotel room and take a nap.

I’ve also been busy with my apartment (there are just a few things left to do, but they keep dragging on and on) and celebrated my 38th birthday; I like to try new things on my birthday, so this year I took my girlfriends to a painting class at a local art studio, it was one of those paint and drink wine events. We loved it!
It has definitely been a busy month! The war in Ukraine, of course, continues, but we all try to look on the bright side. It is horrible to say so, but we’ve all gotten used to it. But let’s not talk about that.
Spellbinders Cardstock
As you probably already know, Spellbinders released new cardstock on the 10th month – 48 beautiful colors designed to work perfectly well for die cutting, embossing, and foiling. I did a video comparing the old and new colors, you can watch it below or on my Youtube channel:
I’m itching to try the new papers in action and hoping to do so this week. I’ll be sure to share what I make!
Live Class with PinkFresh Studio
I also wanted to mention my next live event – a class with PinkFresh Studio in May – Cards for Him! I hope you’ll consider joining us. PinkFresh events are always top-notch! I’ve been an instructor at 2 of their events in the past, and I loved the experience. You get to craft live with the instructor and students, and also chat in the comments and interact with each other. It is like a crafty retreat but from the comfort of your own home.

There’s a new release from Simon Says Stamp – My Favorite Things. I have a few items from this collection and have already made a few cards, I’ll be sharing a video soon.
The weekend event from Spellbinders is making a comeback! You might have already seen some leaked info online; this event is scheduled for the end of May, I’m honored to be one of the instructors. The products are fabulous (I’ve seen them all, so inspiring!). This will go on sale in April.
