Hello crafters! Today’s video is brought to you by Colorado Craft Company – I am very excited to share their January 2021 Anita Jeram Illustrations release with all of you, show you the new stamps, show you a couple of cards I made, and host a giveaway sponsored by Colorado Craft Company
Colorado Craft Company is a newer stamp company on the market. I have shared several videos and projects with their products in 2020 and 2019 and I had an absolute blast creating with their stamps. They introduced a new line of stamps featuring illustrations of a world-famous author and illustrator, Anita Jeram, in October of last year, and those stamps became an instant hit.
I wasn’t familiar with Anita’s work, but I fell in love with her illustrations and while they aren’t typically my style, I enjoy coloring her cute critters and making greeting cards with the images she illustrated. So I eagerly looked forward to this new release and it did not disappoint!

CARD DETAILS
With Anita’s illustrations so full of character I always feel like there isn’t much needed to make a great card. I like to stamp her characters, do simple coloring, and pop my colored character panel on an A2 white card base. I might add a colored background panel, to tie together with the coloring I have going on on the panel, I might add an embossed panel, too, to add some texture, but for the most part, I feel the illustrations speak for themselves and there isn’t much I need to do to make my cards shine. You’ll notice nearly all of my cards are rather basic, but they are super fun, all thanks to Anita’s illustrations. I didn’t even add any embellishments to my cards, I did add some cute hearts to Valentine’s day cards, but that was it.

I like to colour with Watercolour Pencils by Faber Castell and trying to use Alcohol Blends at the moment… 😉
Love your cards! And this Little Hamster with all the clover is soooo adorable!❤️❤️❤️
I had been using Copic markers almost exclusively, but am now experimenting with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and traditional water colors. Still looking for brushes I like.
Your cards are just fabulous! And I really like the Colorado Craft Company products.
Watercoloring is my favorite way to color
I love these cards and stamps!
Forgot.. I use color pencils and watercolors.
I love all of your cards plus the stamps. I love the stamp Still Cozy after all these years. My husband and I are coming up to our 50th and I would love to use this stamp set.
I like coloring with copics… but I’m still in the learning phase. Thank You
I love my copies, but the Anita stamps have me drawn to my prismatic pencils. Love you work. It is beautiful.
I like to color with Copic markers!
I’m new to coloring and don’t have Copics but I enjoy watercoloring and using colored pencils.
My first time seeing your blog! Love these critter cards. I don’t color well and try it all. So far the best i do is with colored pencils.
I absolutely love these Anita Jeram stamps and the cards that you have made with them. I like to color using Copic markers and also like to use my Prismacolor pencils with Gamsol, too. I find both fun to use to create nicely shaded images.
These new sets are delightful–your cards show this so well. tfs-stay well.
Love Anitas artistry and so happy colorado craft company were able to present them.
OMG! These cards are so ADORABLE! I love the sentiments and sweet images! The spotlight dimension adds so much to a clean and simple card— I am definitely trying this!
I am terrible at Copic coloring, so lately my favorite coloring medium is watercolor pencil. I get depth and dimension with no effort. Fast, easy and done!
From the date of my comment you know I am not entering the giveaway, thank you. Your cards are delightful, love the soft colours that you stuck to, as you rightfully said there is no need to reinvent the wheel when it works so well. Will look out for these. Stay safe, healthy & happy x
