Hello crafters! Today’s video is brought to you by Colorado Craft Company – I am very excited to share their January 2021 Anita Jeram Illustrations release with all of you, show you the new stamps, show you a couple of cards I made, and host a giveaway sponsored by Colorado Craft Company
Colorado Craft Company is a newer stamp company on the market. I have shared several videos and projects with their products in 2020 and 2019 and I had an absolute blast creating with their stamps. They introduced a new line of stamps featuring illustrations of a world-famous author and illustrator, Anita Jeram, in October of last year, and those stamps became an instant hit.
I wasn’t familiar with Anita’s work, but I fell in love with her illustrations and while they aren’t typically my style, I enjoy coloring her cute critters and making greeting cards with the images she illustrated. So I eagerly looked forward to this new release and it did not disappoint!

CARD DETAILS
With Anita’s illustrations so full of character I always feel like there isn’t much needed to make a great card. I like to stamp her characters, do simple coloring, and pop my colored character panel on an A2 white card base. I might add a colored background panel, to tie together with the coloring I have going on on the panel, I might add an embossed panel, too, to add some texture, but for the most part, I feel the illustrations speak for themselves and there isn’t much I need to do to make my cards shine. You’ll notice nearly all of my cards are rather basic, but they are super fun, all thanks to Anita’s illustrations. I didn’t even add any embellishments to my cards, I did add some cute hearts to Valentine’s day cards, but that was it.

I loved your 3D samples, such a cute way to bump it up a bit. I am using colored pencil on my Anita Jeram images so far, but after watching your Valentine video I am definitely going to try Copics next. Thanks for sharing!
Lovely cards Yana! The illustrations are just adorable! I love this new release and even though I don’t have any of her stamps, I’m going to invest in this collection. . I really learned a lot of tips from your video, so thank you! Right now my favorite way to color is with colored pencils but that always changes and I rotate my supplies depending on how I’m feeling. Happy New Year!!!
I have absolutely fallen in love with her illustrations!!! I have not purchased any at this time, just drooled over them since the last (or possibly 2?) release(s) due to the holidays. I am definitely not a colorist but I am learning to love alcohol marker coloring. Her fantastic illustrations make for my coloring to be minimal but still look amazing! I love that!!!! You did an awesome job on your coloring & all of your cards, always! Love the spotlighting you did to elevate them. Brilliant! Great job! Can’t wait to see what else you do with this company’s stamps!
I loved the books that featured Anita’s illustrations and I absolutely love the stamps! Your cards are always wonderful!
Yana, watercolor is my favorite way to color. I just got the Zig Clean Brush Markers and absolutely love them. Your cards are beautiful and this collection is fabulous! Thanks for sharing these amazing cards, very inspiring! (Instagram: LoveAutumn36)
Yana, I too am in love with this collection! I have a couple of the Christmas stamps and just adore them the Bunnies are so precious! My favourite way to colour is with copic markers but I am not too good with the blending process so your method looks like it would be perfect for me to try! Thanks so much for the inspiration!!
These are Absolutely ADORABLE!!!! Love this coloring style!!!
I like using colored pencils. I love Anita Jeram’s cute little critters. They aren’t my style, either, but I find myself NEEDING them! Thank you for the opportunity to win!
This company! These cards! All amazing & totally inspiring!!!! Coloring by colored pencils is usually easiest for me….I prefer not to color honestly…I prefer to stamp my colors but in this case it wouldn’t require much coloring as these stamps do not need it! They are so adorable!!!!!
I love this company. I bought a couple of their stamps a couple of months ago. They are adorable. I love that you made them 3 dimensional too.
Very cute…the coloring looks like maybe I could do it!!!!
Always love what you do with everything; especially these adorable little critters. I am enjoying working with a new set of alcohol markers I got for Christmas, and I like to add deeper color with colored pencils.
Such adorable images and awesome cards. The little hamster and clovers is a must for me.
I love these stamp sets and your cards are wonderful! Thanks for sharing.
OMG, I just love these new little stamp sets, I love the bunny one with the comments for outside and inside the card. So gorgeous. Thank you.
I almost always color with copic markers.
Love the cards and I am a huge fan of CCC. I have been using COPIC quite a bit but need to start venturing back into watercolor.
These cards are beautiful. I love to color with comics. Even if I tried so many mediums over the years I still come back to my first love.
These are all just adorable! I love these darling critters! I think your Valentine card with the mice is my favorite! I am loving my Zig markers to color with!
I have been following your blog for quite a while, and although thiese Anita Jerman style aren’t your usual…you sure are great at them!!! I love her stamps and you insipe me and give me such great ideas until my own start flowing with the stamps!!!! Thanks a bunch!!!!
Love, love, love all of these stamps and sentiments! I like to color with watercolor pencils and a water brush; I feel that method would also do justice to these amazing images. I think you were smart to mount your colored image pieces on a simple background. It really makes the images the main focus! TY for sharing.
This new release is so adorable. Anita’s critters are so cute and you showcased them beautifully. I love my polychromos to colour and Santa just offered me Prismacolor pencils so I’m ready to try them on these new sets !
New to it but I think I might try watercolours! Just love these characters.
I use Copics mainly but also like Distress Oxide Inks for a soft look and the occasional watercolour pencil too.
Absolutely stunning!! I have 3 of her sets and can’t wait to use these!
I am new to alcohol markers so I have been just trying to copy what others do, mainly starting with the lightest colour, then I add the medium, then I add the darkest then go over it all again with the lightest and touch up with the medium and darkest colours of needed. I am going to try your method which is much simpler and still looks great, I am also going to try the technique of adding dimension by popping up one piece of the picture. Your cards are so sweet, I really appreciate all the techniques you share with us!
Oh my gosh! You have done such a wonderful job with these new stamps. They are so cute! I love the new stamps and look forward to following more of your great artwork.
You make the most beautiful cards! I love my copics the best
Love your cards and your tops are very helpful! Thank you!!
I recently received my first Colorado Stamp Company Anita Jeram stamps. Love them. I am making cards to send to “Cards for Soldiers” who send them on to deployed troops that don’t have access to greeting cards to send to friends and loved ones.
Your cards using these stamps are so adorable! I love Anita Jeram’s style of illustration, and really liked your use of the spotlight dimensional technique. Right now, I’m enjoying coloring with my alcohol markers. I’m still learning how to blend the colors but really like the look of your Copic coloring technique.
Your cards are adorable Yana, I especially liked the extra dimension you added. The Anita Jeram images are just darling. I love colouring with alcohol markers but enjoy my zig markers too. Thanks for the chance to win. Ps I’m already a subscriber to your blog and I’m now following Colorado Craft Co. on IG (@dennymor) x x
I love the cards you’ve created with these gorgeous stamps. My favourite medium is Copics but I keep trying other ways to colour, including pencils and watercolours. I just need more time to practise! Stay safe x
I love your cards using these fabulous Anita Jeram stamps. I have been in love with them since the beginning. I have collected a few and it looks like I will be buying more!! The one with the mouse in the clovers is my favorite!!
Love these new stamps and all of your suggestions for coloring and stamping these great Anita Jeram stamps. My favorite way to color at the moment is with copics. I do like to play with watercolors, colored pencils and inks.
sooooo stinkin’ cute! Only recently became aware of colorado craft co. Stamps, specifically K Werner poinsettia slimline card. Stamp was out of stock but I started browsing around their site. Excited to see more of these sweet designs. I can see the appeal – a true artist as children’s book illustrator makes these one of a kind.
I love coloring either with Copics or colored pencils! These images are so precious! I love the 3-D look we used to do that way way back with cotton balls and decoupage! Brought back great memories!
So cute! Giving the little critters extra pop with the partial foam backed elements adds so much to the illustrations.
I’m already a subscriber to your things as well as to C3. I love their things and you had some great tips. My favorite coloring method I guess is Copic but am working on learning to watercolor.
Yana…you are gifted and love your videos and tips. Anita’s stamps are addicting and so wonderful. I just had to get all of these and will look forward to creating with them. Thank you all for bringing joy and helping us to create happiness and smiles to others with our cards and projects.
I love the 3D additions on these sweet cards, Yana! I love your colouring and do use copics a bit, but I often find my go to is watercolouring! Thanks so much for the wonderful inspiration! Happy new year! Take care!
It’s so nice to see St. Patricks stamps being released! Too often it gets passed over as stamp companies jump right from Valentine’s Day to Easter themes.
Yana – These are so cute! Love the 3D tips, the double black ink stamp trick and your coloring. I’ve enjoyed watercoloring Anita’s other stamps, but you’ve inspired me to try my hand at Copic coloring. You make it look easy!
I love these stamps! I am a sucker for some whimsy and these fit the bill. I appreciate that you also offered an example of some more “simple” ideas. I am pretty new to all of this and while I ADORE your foiling, I am still at the simple stage of creation. Thank you so much!
aww these little critters are just adorable – my favorite way to color is with copic makers
I want all these stamp sets! They are adorable, I like the added dimension, such a simple technique that makes a big statement!
Really cute cards Yana. The “a good friend” cards are my favorite.
These critters are so cute and I like your coloring technique. I like to use Copics. I follow Colorado Craft Company on iG.
Very impressed with this cards, the illustrations are so adorable. My favorite way to color is color pencils.
These card’s and stamps are just adorable, my favorite way to color is to use markers
Beautiful cards! I receive your newsletter and follow 3C’s on IG. I really like to color with colored pencils but have been practicing more with markers and have been enjoying it.
Hi, Yana! Super cute cards! I don’t work well with markers so I use color pencils and watercolors to color.
I love coloring with water colors and that hamster with the clover is just the cutest thing!!! Thanks for sharing❤️
I don’t use social media, but I have been subscribed to your newsletter for years now.
