This is another post from the new bi-weekly “Clean & Simple Die Cutting” series. You can view all posts from this series by clicking here.
For today’s card I decided to go with good old positive and negative pieces of die cuts. You know – positive is the one you intend to die cut and negative is the one you end up having after removing the positive one. For the theme I picked nautical – I’ve been in love with all the aqua colours this summer and have been dying to make a card with an anchor. Finally I got an anchor shape from Blue Fern Studios in November and made the card.
The sentiment reads You are my anchor. The card is intended for my hubby and I was making it as a masculine one but the more I look at it the more I feel its kind of girly, especially with all the glitter and sequins.
A few details:
This card totally calls to me, I love the aqua colour and I really like anchors! I came here via the neat & tangled FB page. x
